7/23 Gardening Club Awards Ceremony - 16 attended.  The following rec'd completion certificates from our club.  Skylar D., Skylier D., Jacob D., Kyley G., Kellianna H., Scott P., Eric W., Awards to Sr. members went to Eric  W/ for 1st place and Scott P. second.  In Juniors Skylier D. rec'd first and Jacob rec'd 3rd.
 
07/24 Canning workshop at the Daley's House - 15 attended.  Salsa, Grape Jelly
Cucumber Relish, and Tomato Juice was canned, along with making fruit leather and dried fruit. 
 
07/28  Ceramic workshop 23 attended.  Went to Purple Glaze 91st and Sheridan
stained as well as glazed items comleted by members.  Jim, shop owner gave workshop on glazed as well as stained ceramics.

August 3, 2008 SET Lesson - Rogers County Building, M Smith Family Refreshments.  43 attended
 
Gabrielle M. led a workshop on writing letters for the backpacks for Kids campaign.
Eric W. led a workshop on Science and Technology with M&M's.
 
8/6, Tandy Leather Craft 30 attended workshops were given by Ms. Judy - Staining Leather, and Mr. John on leather stamping.
 
8/8- Peach picking and canning workshop  13 went to the the Livesay Orchard on field trip.  Mrs. Livesay gave a workshop on picking peaches and we went to the orchard and picked peaches.  After we returned Mrs. Livesay gave us another workshop on Peach grading. 
 
8/8- Peach canning workshop 11 attended we canned 14 pints of peaches.  1 pint of peach salsa, and 7 pints of peach butter.  Donna Daley gave workshop on peeling, and canning peaches.
 
8/8- Decorative painting workshop.  10 attended.  Robin Lujann gave classes on decorative painting.  Members attended painted and worked on fair projects.
 
Sept 11- Terrarium Workshop 9:00am Daley's House, Ashley Lujan Master Gardener presented workshop.  17 attended.
 
8/11-  Backpacks for Kids work day in Muskogee - 3 attended.
 
08-17 Educational booth committees met at County Bldg.   attended.  More meetings planned.
 
08/22-24 Collinsville Tri County Fair 16 participated with indoor exhibits.

September 7, 2008 Fair Crafts - Rogers County Building, Rebecca K Refreshments 68 attended.  Gabrielle M. and Charles M gave a illustrated presentation on "Mistakes that will get you DQ'ed at the Fair on posters and photography.  Cherish B. gave "The Care of Rabbits"

                  12th - Steak Dinner Thank you for all who helped out at the steak dinner we could not do this without you.
                  14th - Pick up inside exhibits.
 
 
October 12 Meeting at Livesay Orchard 46 attended watch movie and toured
                 Pumpkin Patch and apple orchard. 
                 Canning apples workshop at Daley's House 30 attended made
                  applesauce, applebutter, and apples.
 
October 17th - Youth in Action Nine attended from our club.   Charles elected State officer.
 
October 28 - Items need to be turned in to extension office for the Chocolate Affair.
 
November 1, 2008 Will Rogers Day Parade, - we had a awesome float Thank you Robin. 
 
November 2, 2008 - 37 attended, Lesson on record keeping and record books.  Workshop given by Jacob D. and Charles M.  Refreshment provide by Daley family.
 
November 15th Share the Fun all who attended had a great time.  Jacob Daley from our club will be representing us at District Share the Fun in January.

Members still working on  Special Olympics scarfs. 
 
Club voted to be part of the Kids Helping Kids Campaign.  Should start 1st of January.

January 4, 2009 Meeting attended by 37.  Jacob D. discussed the scarfs for the Special Olympics and led a workshop on writing and attaching notes.  We sent off 101 scarfs.  Charles and Gabrielle gave a speech on Footprints in recycling, Keita gave a speech on Water and run off. 
 
January 13th State Record Book workshop 5 attended.
 
January 17th Distirct Share the Fun - Jacob D. from our Club will represent our county in ind. act. Jacob rec'd a blue ribbon.

Congratuation to Circle G our club collected 2nd most in the state for Kids Helping Kids, we will receive a gift certificate for 4H store.  Jacob D. was 2nd in state in ind. collections he will rec a savings bond.
 
Congratulations to Sandy Phelps Lifetime Volunteer service winner and Robin Lujan 4-H Volunteer of the year.  Both of these women have done a great job helping out our club.  We are all pround to see you get the honor you deserve.  Good luck on the district level.
